T & CCovid-19

Bank transfer:
On receipt of your deposit, we will send you a receipt, confirmation of the booking, the balance and when it is due. The contract exists between you and us and this contract in all circumstances is governed by these booking conditions.
 
Arrival & Departure Times:
Usually your accommodation becomes available from 15.00 hrs on the day of arrival & you must be clear by 10.00 am on your day of Departure. By prior agreement these times can be altered.
 
Balance:
Full payment of the balance as shown on your confirmation invoice is due 8 weeks prior to departure or immediately if the booking is within 8 weeks of departure. If the payment is not received at this point, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and levy cancellation charges as detailed below.
 
Security Deposit:
A deposit cheque of £500/500 euros will normally be submitted on booking. This will be held, not cashed and returned in the week after departure providing no damage has occurred. On departure the group leader will be asked to sign an inventory stating that no damage has occurred. This will be checked at the time by your host but we reserve the right to make you aware after your departure of damage that went unnoticed or was hidden at the time of departure and/or extra cleaning.


Cleaning:
Cleaning is included in our Fully Catered package but not in the Self-Catered nor flexibly catered package. A appropriate cleaning charge will be levied for cleaning if the booking is on a Self-catered or Flexibly catered basis.


Amendments By You:
These must be confirmed in writing. They will come into effect on the day they are received. You hereby agree to indemnify us for any reasonable expenses incurred in making an amendment.
 
Alterations By Us:
In the unlikely event that any alteration is made by us which is deemed to be significant (for example a change of dates or change in accommodation standards), you have the right to cancel the holiday if you wish. Should you cancel in such circumstances you will receive a full refund.
 
Please note that we shall not be liable for any refund should we be forced to cancel or change your holiday due to circumstances amounting to Force Majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but are not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorism, industrial disruption, natural disasters, fire, technical problems, adverse weather, governmental action and similar events beyond our control.
 
Cancellation By You:
Should you cancel your holiday for whatever reason charges will be levied as detailed below. Cancellations will come into effect the day written notice is received by us and will be refunded as shown.

If no written notice of cancellation is received and you do not travel, cancellation is deemed to have been received on the day of departure.
 
Your Responsibilities:
As part of this contract you hereby agree to guarantee payment for any chargeable services requested by any member of your group both before and during your holiday. We reserve the right to recover from you the cost of breakages, damage to accommodation etc caused with or without intent by you or any member of your party. We do not accept liability for financial loss or damage to property suffered by you other than due to the negligence of us or our employees.


Medical Conditions:
It is your responsibility to inform us, ideally at the time of booking or at very least at the time of balance payment, of any medical conditions for your group members.


Dietary Allergies:
It is your responsibility to inform us, ideally at the time of booking or at very least at the time of balance payment, of any dietary allergies for your group members.


Personal Travel Insurance:
This is your responsibility; the responsibility of the group leader or the individual group members NOT La vieille Ferme (LvF Alps)
 
Health, Passports & Visas:
EU Nationals are advised to hold a full passport valid for the duration of the holiday and for at least six months after your return journey. Vaccinations are not currently required to enter France. Non-EU Nationals are advised to contact your local French Consulate for further information. Please remember that you will be flying an International flight into Geneva airport so if you are a non EU citizen check that you have the correct visa!
 
Transport:
It is your responsibility to organise your own group’s travel unless agreed by us in advance. We cannot accept responsibility for guests missing flights for any reason or mislaying or destroying travel documents and no credit or refund will be given if you fail to take up a component of your holiday as a result. We are not responsible for any flight delays.
 
Problems:
If you are ever unhappy with any aspect of your holiday, you must address your complaint immediately to a member of the LvF Alps team. In the unlikely event that your problem cannot be resolved locally, you must inform us in writing of your complaint within 30 days of your return so that any rights to compensation can be examined. The contract between you and us is subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
 
Prices:
These prices are quoted for current season /trip & will not be effected by any currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to change the price of unsold holidays at any time. Please check the applicable price of your chosen holiday at the time of booking.
 
Skiing With La vieille Ferme (LvF Alps):
It is the responsibility of you and your group to judge the suitability of each area in which you ski. If you or any member of your group ski in a location on the recommendation of or accompanied by any representative of La vieille Ferme, we will not be liable for any injuries howsoever caused.


Non-skiing holidays  with La vieille Ferme (LvF Alps):
It is the responsibility of you and your group to judge the suitability of each activity / area that you do or visit. If you or any member of your group do an activity or visit a location on the recommendation of or accompanied by any representative of La vieille Ferme (LvF Alps), we will not be liable for any injuries howsoever caused.


Covid-19

Pre-stay
It is hoped and expected that Covid 19 restrictions will no longer apply for the Winter season 2021-22 however, in order to allay any fears, we are currently taking a reduced deposit to confirm a booking of just 15% (normally 20%) for all bookings for the Summer 2021 season & the Winter season 2021-22.

In addition, the deadline for the payment of the final balance has also been temporarily reduced from 8 weeks to just 6 weeks before the date of arrival.

Any deposit paid will be fully refundable up until the balance due date in the event that any of the Covid-19 related restrictions (*) detailed below apply. 

Once the final balance of payment has been made, should one of the reasons below (*) adversely impact a stay, you will be able to transfer the value of your booking to a new booking within 12 months of the date of your planned stay or request a 50% refund.

If the final balance of payment has not been received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit paid and in this case no refund (or transfer to a new date) will be due.

In the event that cancellation of your stay occurs within 14 days of arrival no refund is due and the right to transfer your booking to a future date is lost. 

The (*) Covid-19 restrictions are limited to the following situations:

The FCDO (previously the FCO), or the equivalent Governmental body in your country of origin, advises against all but essential travel to France and / or the region of Haute Savoie.
Strict Quarantine measures of over 5 days are implemented either in France (or Haute Savoie specifically) or in your home country. 
The Grand Massif ski domain and / or the property you have booked are closed due to locally imposed Covid-19 restrictions

Please Note: Where the booking is cancelled for any other reason, our standard booking terms and conditions will apply.


During your stay: 
In the event that as a result of a change in travel restrictions, either in your home country or in France (or Haute Savoie specifically), you decide to curtail your stay no refund will be applied. The assumption being that you have been allowed to travel and that you have appropriate holiday insurance to cover this situation.

To ensure you have a worry-free stay, we will continue to  follow standards for cleanliness that are recommended by local regulations. In addition to our normal thorough clean, we will ensure that all frequently touched surfaces such as handles, work surfaces, dining room table and chairs and light switches are disinfected prior to your arrival. 

Covid-19

Pré-séjour
On espère et on s’attend que les restrictions de Covid 19 ne
s’appliquent plus pour la saison d’hiver 2021-22 cependant, nous prenons actuellement une réduction d’acompte pour confirmer une réservation de seulement 15% (normalement 20%) pour toutes les réservations pour la saison été 2021 et  l’hiver saison 2021-22.

En plus, la date limite de paiement du solde a été également temporairement réduit de 8 semaines à
6 semaines avant la date d’arrivée.

Tout acompte versé sera entièrement remboursable jusqu’au date d’échéance du solde dans le cas où l’un des Covid-19 les restrictions connexes (*) détaillées ci-dessous s’appliquent.

Une fois le solde final du paiement effectué, l’une des raisons ci-dessous (*) a un impact négatif sur un séjour, vous pourra transférer la valeur de votre réservation sur un  nouveau réservation dans les 12 mois suivant la date de votre séjour prévu ou demander un remboursement de 50%.
Si le solde final du paiement n’a pas été reçu par nous
à la date d’échéance, nous nous réservons le droit d’annuler la réservation et conserver l’acompte versé et dans ce cas aucun remboursement (ou transfert à une nouvelle date) sera due.

En cas d’annulation de votre séjour dans les 14
jours d’arrivée aucun remboursement n’est dû et le droit de transférer votre la réservation à une date ultérieure est perdue.

Les (*) restrictions Covid-19 sont limitées aux
situations:

▪ Le FCDO (anciennement le FCO), ou l’équivalent
Organisme gouvernemental de votre pays d’origine, conseille contre tous les voyages sauf voyage indispensables en France et / ou région de Haute Savoie.
▪ Des mesures de quarantaine strictes de plus de 5 jours sont
mis en œuvre soit en France (ou en Haute Savoie
concrètement) ou dans votre pays d’origine.
▪ Le domaine skiable du Grand Massif et / ou la propriété que vous ont réservé sont fermés en raison de l’imposition locale Restrictions de Covid-19

Remarque: lorsque la réservation est annulée pour tout autre raison, nos conditions générales de réservation  standard appliquer.

Pendant votre séjour:


Dans le cas où à la suite d’un changement des restrictions de voyage, soit dans votre pays d’origine, soit en France (ou en Haute Savoie), vous décidez de raccourcir votre séjour aucun remboursement ne sera appliqué. L’hypothèse étant  que vous avez été autorisé voyager et que vous ayez une assurance vacances appropriée couvrir cette situation.


Pour vous assurer un séjour sans souci, nous continuerons à suivre les normes de propreté recommandées.
